Sending Files to TechOps

STANDARD PROCEDURE IS TO UPLOAD FILES TO OOONA ORDERS FOR TECHOPS PROCESSING

AND HIT COMPLETE ON YOUR TASKS​. TECHOPS CAN DOWNLOAD FILES FROM THERE.

 

 However...

 

 

If your files are too large to be uploaded to Ooona (for instance if you're sending us WAV files for delivery) you may upload files to TechOps Intake​​ on Media Shuttle. All other files can be solely uploaded to Ooona.

 

If you have a Send File to TechOps task you will most likely use the TechOps Intake folder. T​he CMU Media Shuttle​ path below l​eads to it. Anything dropped in the TechOps Intake folder will generate a notification email to TechOps, and a Production Technician will gather the files from there:

If you have multiple files to upload to the folder (for instance XML/PNGs or WAV files for Expanded Description), please nest them in a folder and zip that folder, then drop the zipped folder into Intake.

 

If no one in TechOps is assigned the next task in Ooona we'd appreciate an email with a heads up about what the files you’re sending are for.

 

If you want us to look at a file (for instance a misbehaving video) without having to send us the actual file, please give us the file name, location, and associated Order Number if there’s one available.
