Ways to Get Media Shuttle to Work for You
For best results, when you’re going to upload a file to Media Shuttle, DOUBLECLICK into the folder you’re using first. This ensures that the file is going where you actually want it to go.
The search function in Media Shuttle is not very useful. Try using Ctrl + f (aka the find shortcut) to search through assets.
No one has access to your password except you. Use the Forgot Password option on the main page to reset it.
Signiant is what Media shuttle uses for uploads and downloads. Signiant does not play nicely with multiple users on the same computer. If you share a station and discover you can’t upload or download, see if someone else is logged onto the station. If someone else is logged in you’ll have to restart the computer to get Signiant working again. And then later you can kindly remind your desk-mate that they need to log off at the end of their shift.
If Signiant is really refusing to work there’s a test Media Shuttle Portal where you can see if your connection is having issues: https://media-shuttle-free-trial-portal.mediashuttle.com/
