The email address is the most important part of a Media Shuttle Account. If a user loses access to the email we set up the account with, they lose access to the Media Shuttle account too.
To add new employees or ICs to CMU/Captionmax Writer: email TechOps with a first and last name and email address to get a new account made.
To add clients to Share: email TechOps the Project Name or Company Name (please indicate which you’d like their folder to be named after; this will be what shows up on the ingest emails when your client/vendor uploads to the folder), as well as the names and emails of everyone you want to have access to the account.
To add clients to Captionmax Vendor: email TechOps the Company Name (this will be what shows up on the ingest emails when your vendor uploads to the folder), as well as the names and emails of everyone you want to have access to the account.
TechOps does not handle password management. Each user is in charge of their own password. If a user is having login issues they’ll need to click ‘Forgot Password’ and reset it.
We can look up when files were uploaded or downloaded, and who sent or received them. To do that we need three things: email addresses of the senders/recipient, the name of the file you’re wondering about, and a date range!
The speed of transfer on Media Shuttle is dictated by the size of the file and the strength of the internet connection. We cannot change it. |
